10/14/08 Mom let me help put out some fall decorations. I told mom it was the best centerpiece ever. I had fun looking at all the leaves and stuff. This weekend, we are going to get a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch – YEAH! I love fall. mi all

9/15/08 I went with dad and mom to the Bronx for a visit the end of August. I really enjoyed playing with the Silverberg kids – Josh, Shakinah & Josiah. Here is a picture of us hanging out at the end of long day. We all lined up on the floor and covered up with our favorite blankets to watch a movie. I really enjoyed Shakinah and her dogs. We were best buds all weekend. We rode together to church and played all kinds of fun stuff. I want to live in a “skyscaper” and have a dog of my very own when I grow up. emi with the silverbergs

8/14/08 Our family went to B. Forman Park on Lake Ontario this past Tuesday evening. We spent awhile there playing and splashing in the water. We stayed until the sun had almost set. It was very beautiful – a big orange ball in the sky. The beach is very rocky. I love picking up the rocks and tossing them into the water. We wore our old shoes so we could venture into the water. The waves kept splashing all around me and just about knocked me over but mom held onto me real tight. I climbed the big slide all by myself and got to play in the sandbox. I love the beach. lake

8/4/08 My mom thought I was with daddy and daddy thought I was with mom…..I was playing with my markers. Do you like all the pretty colors? Mom said every kid has to draw on their face at least once but she did stress that markers are for paper only. mi marker 7/14/08 Last Thursday, my dad and mom took me to the fair. They kept telling me all day if they finished a couple of projects we would go to the Monroe County Fair. I was so excited. I liked walking through the animal barns. We saw lots of chickens, bunnies, cows and sheep. The rides were the best! I got to ride a couple of the rides all by myself. I liked the little circus train and the carousel. Most of all I liked the SUPER SLIDE. Mom and I climbed way up to the top of the slide, sat on a burlap bag and went flying down the slide. I wanted to do it again and again. Mom was a good sport and climbed up even though she is not a big fan of heights. YEAH for the Fair. mi air 7/7/08 This past week, my Grandpa and Grandma Green flew out to visit me in New York. We had so much fun together. We went to the park, painted, colored, played games, read books and more. It was GREAT to see them. emi12

6/28/08 This past Tuesday, I got to pick strawberries with mama and daddy. It was my first time. I was so excited that I talked almost non-stop the whole time we were there. I tried hard to only pick the red ones but a few green ones snuck into my basket. We picked 5 quarts. Mama says we will have strawberry shortcake when Grandma and Grandpa come to visit us. I have never had strawberry shortcake before but anything that ends in cake and has whip cream on top has to be good, right? trawberry

6/23/08 Sorry it took so long to add another photo. Mama and I have been busy settling into life in New York. I like our new house and having my own room. Mom even checked the local library and found that they have a story hour. I go every Monday that we are home. Thanks for praying for me. emi ball

5/1/08 Playing in the rain – oh yeah! Today it rained. Mommy got me dressed real quick and we went outside to play. I tried out my umbrella, splashed in the puddles and dug around in the mud. It was the greatest! I ended up all wet but mom made me hot cocoa and dried me off when we were done playing. I hope it rains tomorrow:) mi in the ain

4/23/08 All in a day’s work. Check out my boots! Do you think Dad will mind if I borrow them? I sure enjoy playing outside. I like making sandcastles and swinging best. ew attached image

3/1/08 Last Monday, my friend Brenden came over to play. We had so much fun! We painted pictures, ate hot dogs, modeled these cool sunglasses (yes, they are upside down!) and played, played, played. emi08

2/13/08 When we stop for dinner after riding in the van for long hours, Emily likes to go to the playland at McDonalds and run around. One of her “friends” that she always sees is Ronald himself. This is Emily & Ronald in Wisconsin. ew attached image

1/7/08 I have been enjoying the SNOW! My Grandpa pulled me around in a wooden runner sled – it was fast and super slick. I helped my dad and mom make a couple of snowmen. Do you like them? The snow is pretty much gone now but mom says there will be more to come. YEAH for Snow! snow

12/21/07 A couple of weeks ago, I was at the church on a Wednesday night. My mom and dad were setting up for AWANA. I found the one of the church’s Christmas trees. It was so beautiful and sparkled! The tree was covered with gold, shiny balls and lots of lights. I was so fascinated. Dad sure caught the moment! milyree

12/12/07 On December 9th, I turned 2. We celebrated my birthday on the 8th. Dad made me the coolest Elmo cake – LaLaLaLa Elmomo! I enjoyed blowing out the candles. Dad also made my favorite meal – spaghetti and garlic bread. Mom helped me open my gifts. It was so much fun. mi irthday

11/27/07 Here is a picture of me playing in the snow the day after Thanksgiving. It was so fun to crunch around the yard in my pink boots. My mom put up our Christmas tree last Saturday. The tree is covered with pretty colored lights. My mom and dad asked me not to touch the lights because they might be hot. I said I would blow on them and cool them off. My mom thought that was cute. Mom said she should have taken my picture while I was blowing on the tree. ew attached image

10/19/07 Hello! My name is Emily. I am 23 months old. Last weekend, my mama and daddy took me to Major’s pumpkin patch. I saw lots & lots of pumpkins. I went on a hay ride. It was soooooo much fun. I rode in a peddle car and a red wagon too. I also got to play some fun games like the bean bag toss and the ring toss. I really liked the corn hunt. There was a big tractor tire on the ground and it was filled with corn. I got to jump in the corn and dig for surprises. A nice lady painted a pumpkin on my face and gave me a pumpkin shaped cookie. Daddy bought me two pumpkins – a BIG one and a small one. ew attached image
